Sainsbury's is proud to support Sainsbury's School Games, which promotes inclusive sport from school level to elite competition. This sponsorship forms part of Sainsbury's commitment to inspire and enable healthy and active lifestyles for all, regardless of age or ability, which is brought to life everyday by its well-established Active Kids scheme.

Active Kids launched in 2005, and since then the retailer has donated over £150 million worth of equipment and experiences. Over 50,000 nurseries, schools, Scout and Guide groups and sports clubs have registered to the scheme.

The Youth Sport Trust is a national charity that is building a brighter future for young people through PE and sport. Through 20 years of experience we have developed a unique way of maximising the power of sport to grow young people, schools and communities through the development of qualities including creativity, aspiration, resilience and empathy.

DCMS is committed to using the inspiration of the London 2012 Games to help rejuvenate sporting competition in schools and the Sainsbury's 2015 School Games continues this legacy. This event will provide the perfect platform on which the most talented athletes can showcase their abilities, as well as inspiring other school children across the country to take up competitive sport through the Sainsbury's School Games.

Change4Life

The Department of Health is funding several initiatives in schools across England to help improve the level of physical activity and engagement in school sport in Children and Young People.

Sport England

Sport England is delighted to be the main funding partner of the Sainsbury's 2015 School Games. Sport England is focused on helping people and communities across the country create a sporting habit for life. We will invest over £1 billion of National Lottery and Exchequer funding between 2012 and 2017.

British Paralympic Association

The British Paralympic Association is the National Paralympic Committee for the UK, responsible for the promotion of the Paralympic movement in Great Britain and selecting, entering and funding the Great Britain and Northern Ireland Paralympic team. We are proud to be a supporting partner for the Sainsbury's 2015 School Games, which is playing a vital role in providing disability sport opportunities across the country.
